A native of northern New York State, Dave Inglehart received a BA from Colby College (ME) and an MA from Middlebury College (VT), both in English. During the course of his career, he has been a teacher and journalist as well as an early developer and publisher of multimedia programming. In 1995, he founded Troubadour Interactive and began work on a three-part history series on CD-ROM. The results have since been converted to the web and may be found at ageofrevolution.net. He currently lives in mid-coast Maine.

Linda Skernick was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She studied both piano and harpsichord, graduating from Hampshire College and the Juilliard School. She has played and taught music for most of her life, playing solo recitals in major cities throughout the United States, and “across the pond”, including in Switzerland, Portugal and Russia. She was a member of many orchestras and chamber music groups and performed regularly on concerts at Connecticut College, New London, CT, where she was an Adjunct Professor of Music. To support her music habit, she did freelance editing for the New York Times’ Great Contemporary Issues series, the HES construction magazine, the Sagadahoc Democrats newsletter, and now for this website. Linda lives in Maine, with her husband, a harpsichord maker, public radio host and recording engineer, and their amazing telepathic cat.

Candace “Candy” Guerette was born in Millinocket, Maine, and spent much of her life in the Bangor area. She earned an MBA from the University of Maine, and has served as Assistant Town Manager in Orono, Town Manager in Orrington and President of the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce. She has also been an active volunteer, serving on a number of community and state boards, including Leadership Maine, Maine Municipal Association, Katahdin Area Boy Scout Corporation, University of Maine Alumni Board and Topsham Library finance committee. She and her husband Bob have two adult children and now live in Topsham. 

Born in Chicago to a commercial artist father and copy-writer mother, Siri Beckman moved to Highland Park, Illinois, with her family soon after birth and spent much of her childhood roaming the fields and woods near home with the neighborhood kids. She started drawing pictures at an early age, and went on to pursue an interest in art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, The Art Academy of Cincinnati, Lake Forest College (BA) and University of the Arts (MFA in Printmaking and Book Arts). Siri moved to Deer Isle, Maine, in 1975, where she found her true community of artists and craftsmen and discovered the art of wood engraving, which became her primary medium for 40 years.
